Dr Baiju Senadhipan is an eminent leader of Keyhole Surgery, which is also known as laparoscopic or minimally invasive surgery. He has pioneered keyhole surgery since 1990s and since then through continuous learning and teaching, has significantly contributed to the advancement of keyhole surgery in India.He is an international expert in Cancer Keyhole Surgery for gastrointestinal cancers such as that of the food pipe, stomach, liver, pancreas, bile duct, small and large intestines and rectum. A host of scientific studies have proven the effectiveness of keyhole surgery in the case of cancer, but very few surgeons across the world have the skill to safely perform them. Dr Senadhipan is one among those few. He has successfully performed more than 2000 complex gastrointestinal cancer surgeries laparoscopically placing him amongst the most experienced in the world.
Dr Senadhipan is a leading expert in Keyhole Bariatric Surgery to cure morbid obesity and thereby type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea and other morbidities that coexist in an obese patient. He has performed more than 500 Bariatric Surgeries, one of the largest series in Kerala and India. Dr Senadhipan was the first Indian surgeon to perform a complex non-cancerous procedure called Laparoscopic Coloplasty for Benign Oesophageal Stricture. He has successfully used the keyhole method in complex surgeries which are otherwise done through open method.

For outstanding performance in the field of complex Gastro intestinal problems he was awarded a Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery in Cleveland Clinic, Florida USA. He achieved yet another fellowship in HepatoPancreaticoBiliary Surgery in Amrita Institute of Medical Science (AIMS) and holds an M Ch (Surgical gastroenterology) from the institute. A member of various medical and social organisations, he was a part of various medical conferences and has given award winning presentations. He has specialised in complex gastro intestinal problems like enterocutaneous fistula, sepsis due to pancreatitis, Intestinal failure and Liver failure.
Dr. S. Abilash had taken M.B.B.S from Mahathma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Pondicherry and M.S. General Surgery from Mahathma Gandhi Medical College & Research Institute, Pondicherry. Looking into his professional career, he had contributed his skill as Assistant Professor for 2 Years in The Department of General Surgery.
