FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions Answered

Developmental Pediatrics is a specialized branch of medicine focused on the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of developmental and behavioral issues in children. These issues can range from developmental delays, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, to behavioral problems. Developmental pediatricians work closely with children, their families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to help children reach their full potential.

It's essential to consult a Developmental Pediatrician if you have concerns about your child's development, behavior, or learning abilities. Some signs that may indicate the need for a developmental evaluation include significant delays in reaching developmental milestones (such as walking, talking, or social interaction), difficulties with learning or paying attention in school, persistent behavioral issues, or concerns about autism spectrum disorders. Early intervention is crucial in addressing developmental challenges, so it's best not to delay seeking help if you have concerns about your child's development.
