Cardiac Sciences

I have completed my MCh (CVTS) training from India’s prestigious institute (PGIMER, Chandigarh). I had my basic medical graduation from TD Medical College, Alappuzha (1987-1993). I did my postgraduation (MS Gen Surgery) from Govt Medical College, Kottayam(1997-2000). The super-specialty training (MCh CVTS) was done at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh (2001-2003). I have extensive experience in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgey and had started my career with Padmasree Dr KM Cherian at SGCVC, Parumala (Unit of KM Cherian Heart Foundation in 2004. I had worked there till 2010. In 2010 I joined Bharath Cardiovascular Institute, Kottayam as Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon. I had worked there till 2018. In 2018 I had joined MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery as Senior Consultant & Head of the CVTS department.

I was actively involved in the surgical training as well as teaching of medical graduates and postgraduate students. I have vast experience in all types of cardiothoracic surgeries including coronary surgeries, valve surgeries and thoracic surgeries
